𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗨𝗣CLEANING UP THE OCEANS YOU CAN
We have already talked on this page about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, “the plastic island” as big as Spain that is located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.The good news is that collecting and recycling that waste is possible. 
The Ocean Cleanup, eco start-up that has made a lot of talk about itself for its innovative collection method based on floating barriers, has announced in these days that the first large-scale collection campaigns have given amazing results!
𝟭𝟬𝟴,𝟱𝟮𝟲 𝗞𝗚 of waste has been collected since August 2021, which compared to the size of the plastic island are equal to an area of 3,000 km², like Luxembourg to be clear.
These data show that humanity can remedy its mistakes, we must not surrender to the status quo but we can find innovative solutions to solve the problems we have created.
We at Sintek are doing our part: together with Ogyre we are committed to giving new life to plastic waste collected by fishermen in the Mediterranean.
But prevention is the only way we have to definitively solve the problem of plastic dispersed in the sea. Recycling and Reuse, two fundamental values that commit us daily to spread and promote!
