\"\ud83c\udf33\" The ecological transition<\/strong> is an increasingly debated issue, a theme that often turns out divisive between those who feel the urgency of concrete and immediate actions to protect the atmosphere and those who fear that these actions can have heavy effects on the economy and the society as we know it.<\/span>\u00a0\"\ud83c\udf0e\"<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Today we will try to explain how Italy is moving and what is the National Ecological Transition Plan (ETP)<\/strong> that our country has recently equipped. \"\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9\"<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n
\n

The ETP was created to give a systemic response to the two fundamental and legitimate demands presented above and therefore to project the economic system towards a new sustainable balance, protecting its growth and minimizing the social impact.
\nIt was also created to give a response to the commitments made in Europe with the “Green Deal” and to address an important part of the investments provided by the PNRR<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\"\ud83d\udc49\" It was designed to be implemented over a period of time until year 2050 and develops through 8 macro-themes interconnected with each other.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
01.<\/strong> Decarbonisation <\/b>\"\u27a1\" with two temporal targets: reduction of 55% by 2030 of emissions of greenhouse gases, and achievement of climate neutrality (net zero) by 2050.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
02.<\/strong> Sustainable mobility <\/b>\"\u27a1\" promotion of sustainable mobility, public transport, urban light mobility and promotion of alternatives to fossil fuels such as hydrogen biofuels also for shippings and air transports.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
03.<\/strong> Air quality improvement <\/b>\"\u27a1\" 55% reduction in premature deaths related to air pollution.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
04.<\/strong> Combating soil consumption and hydrogeological instability <\/b>\"\u27a1\" securing 1.5 million citizens living in areas of high and very high hydrogeological risk.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
05.<\/strong> Improvement of water resources and related infrastructure <\/b>\"\u27a1\" strengthening of basins and canals to mitigate the increasingly frequent droughts and structural interventions to reduce losses of public aqueducts.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
06.<\/strong> Restoration and strengthening of biodiversity <\/b>\"\u27a1\" Extension of protected areas by 2030 from 10.5% to 30% of the national territory.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
07.<\/strong> Protection of the sea <\/b>\"\u27a1\" improving research and conservation of marine ecosystems with the aim of reaching 90% of the marine and coastal systems mapped and monitored and 20% restored. Extend marine protected areas from the current 19% to 30%.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

08.<\/strong> Promotion of the circular economy, bioeconomy and sustainable agriculture <\/b>\"\u27a1\" promotion of reusing and recycling practices with the aim of reducing plastic waste and packaging on a national scale by 30% by 2030.<\/span><\/div>\n
As you can guess, the plan is very articulate and addresses the issue of ecological transition with a systemic approach and without neglecting any aspect of the complex route we have to face.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It is a colossal challenge that must first of all be shared and understood by citizens, but also by those like us who have been studying solutions to reduce the impact of their business and promote consumer awareness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
